Keith ONLY uses official Post-it brand notes, so his palette is limited.
Many of the colors he uses are retired.  

On "Paper Doll" the Dark Blue, Purple and Mustard Yellow in her hair are retired.
The several colors are different thicknesses and opacities. Black being the thickest, and the original Post-it yellow is the thinest.

ALL colors have a bias to the paper and they curl better in one direction than the other. Keith has to test each of the notes before he adds them to the image. They are not attached by the Post-its own glue strip, so they will not fall off.

Usually 3-4 revisions are done before the final product.
